I was inspired by, Mixed media and art, March's moodboard to alter, a sailing ship...
I was, obviously, inspired by, the images of the moodboard, elements as ships, seashells, sand and colours as blue, white...

March challenge

Step by step:

I started by, adding small pieces, of wood and on top of it, I used some sand, seashell pieces...

Went on, covering the ship, with sand...

I used tiny pieces, of broken jewelry and metal embellishments; a cloth cord; decor stones; macro and micro artstones...
I attached everything, with school white glue...
On the other side, I created a different design: also, using broken jewelry and metal embellishments; cardoard gears, made out of, die cuts and gears, made out of, ceramic powder...
On the sailing cloth, I attached some embellishments, made out of, ceramic powder...
I painted, the whole ship, using: gesso; yellow cadmio, acrylic colour; pastes (leaf green, emerald green and sky blue)
Finally, I sprayed everything, with opaque transparent, protective enamel...

I am also, presenting my sailing ship, to the following challenges:

  13. What a glorious creation, Nora - stunning textures, and the whole thing has a brilliantly weathered, ancient look to it. Amazing work! Thanks so much for joining us on A Vintage Journey.
